WAGS of SCI Podcast: Healing Trauma with Rosalien Stagg

by | Feb 27, 2020 | Heartbeat Trauma release, Trauma release, WAGS of SCI

Recently, I was privileged to work with the WAGS of SCI organization: The Wives And Girlfriends of Spinal Cord Injury. Together, we produced a podcast that will hopefully show those with SCI, just a few ways how they can live well, grow, and get the most out of life.

Regardless of who you are or what has happened to you, trauma is something that impacts ALL of us at one point or another in our lives. Healing trauma we have experienced – or even accepting it’s validity in our lives – is something that is hard for a lot of us to do, or even know where or how to start.

Not only is trauma in the SCI community prevalent for most who have gone though a life changing injury, but what about the partners of those people? It takes us a long time to accept our own trauma as valid, and when we learn how important it is to heal our own wounds, we were even more motivated to be on a journey to be our best selves – from within.

Join us as we talk trauma and HEALING in a positive and insightful way. We dig deep into where trauma comes from, the stages of trauma, and how to recognize them in your own life. We also discuss ways to move forward, and share tips on how you can live your best, most vibrant life possible regardless of your circumstances.
